Domas this, and all my digital work, was done in Photoshop using my own custom brushes designed to simulate natural brush strokes.
Appreciate for letting me know :) And absolutely i would say these brushes are on point, i'm aiming and trying to do the same thing, to get that natural brush feel to it. Love the work!
